Eastern’s 248 Islander adds a touch of elegance for family day-cruising, luncheons, and sunset cruises. She’d make a comfortable but able race committee boat too. Her pilothouse includes a companion seat opposite the helm, with a galley/mate unit just aft with a sink, refrigerator, trash storage and an angled double seat facing into the cockpit.

With the 150-hp outboard mounted on a bracket, the closed transom gets a full-width, cushioned bench seat. Both cockpit seats gain elegant, plush, custom striped upholstery, and a teak-trimmed cockpit table mounts on a pedestal between them.
