Safety Rules for Skiing

When you’re at the helm, you’re responsible for keeping your skier out of harm’s way. Here are some things to remember at all times.

+ Everyone must wear a Coast Guard-approved water ski vest.

+ Allow a minimum of 100’ between your skier and all other objects.

+ Always have a spotter onboard.

+ Never ski in shallow water or at night.

+ Keep a downed skier in your sight.

+ Turn the motor off before you get close to someone in the water.
